The Reality with Making the Switch to Solar

Think every solar company has good intentions? Think again 💥. While many solar companies (like us!), make it their personal mission to help homeowners and business owners make the switch to solar, every business still needs to balance their books to survive. Unfortunately, there are solar cowboys out there that achieve this goal at the expense of quality control. The good news is, there are tell-tale signs that can help you weed out the “bad apples.” Some solar companies utilise sales teams as the first point of contact with clients. If this is something you’ve experienced, don’t be afraid to ask whether they outsource the work to independent contractors or use employees. It’s not necessarily the case that independent contractors won’t do a good job. However, there’s definitely more accountability when there’s a sense of team ownership with the process.
